V sobotu 10.7. 2010 proběhl druhý ročník soutěže v tradičním kosení trávy "Volarský sekáč - Jarmark starých řemesel". Na Maxových loukách se tentokrát sešlo skoro třicet závodníků a to od nejstaršího 75 let starého Georga Zaglauera z Perlesreutu po nejmladší sedmiletá dítka, která soutěžila v nově vyhlášené kategorii sekáč - junior na na čtverci 2x2 metry.
Díky podpoře z fondů Evropské unie bylo možné pozvat také zahraniční hosty. Na organizaci soutěže se podílelo bavorské městečko Perlesreut, odkud doputovalo dvanáct borců v čele s hlanvím organizátorem Perlesreutského Schmalzlerfestu Mgr. Manfredem Nigglem. Kvalitu závodu výrazně zvedla výprava ze slovenského Horehronia v čele s Lukášem Janoškou, hlavou Slovenského koseckého spolku... foto: Petr Čmerda, Jaroslav Pulkrábek a Bára Stehlíková
