Ve čtvrtek 18.května 2017 se uskutečnila očekávaná akce, kterou byl 3.ročník "Seniorské cyklistické stezky". Jelo se za krásného květnového počasí v příjemné jarní atmosféře. V 10 hodin postupně a s nadšením vyjelo na 11 kilometrový okruh krásnými hradeckými lesy 39 seniorů - cyklistů s cílem posílit svoji fyzickou kondici a ujistit svou psychiku, že "na to ještě mají". Všichni jeli podle svých možností, a to rekreačně nebo kondičně, většina pak závodně. A ten spokojený pocit v cíli, že jsem to dokázal a překonal sám sebe, vždy stojí za to!
Následovalo pak sdílení zážitků ze závodu při společném posezení s dobrým občerstvením. Jako v minulých ročnících nechybělo ani tentokrát netradiční vyhlášení výsledků, předání diplomů všem, kteří se aktivně zúčastnili a udělení medailí těm nejlepším. I když vyhráli všichni, kteří se zúčastnili a kteří prožili krásné dopoledne se sportem uprostřed krásných hradeckých lesů. A tak díky všem účastníkům, organizátorům a sponzorům této akce. Zdar všem seniorům-cyklistům na jejich dalších letošních cestách! Ať žije Seniorská cyklostezka 2018! J. Novák
