V úterý večer bičuje oblohu prudký déšť. Očekávám, že ráno nás bude málo. Ale Svatý Petr nám přeje a na hradeckém nádraží se 15. 3. 2023 scházejí seniorky a senioři v hojném počtu (38) k pěšímu výletu do Potštejna. Zaplníme celý vagon, přidávají se k nám turisté - senioři z Chrudimi. Ale ti si jedou prohlédnout kostelecké bledule. I pan výpravčí v Potštejně se diví, tolik vystupujících již dlouho neviděl. Vydáváme se na cestu do vsi Brná, 1,5 km od Potštejna, a z dálky nás zdraví zřícenina hradu. Přetínáme hlavní cestu na Ústí nad Orlicí a vstupujeme na lesní cestu do přírodní rezervace Modlivý důl - místo setkávání bratrů Jednoty bratrské po třicetileté válce (Alois Jirásek) Příroda se pomalu probouzí a kolem původních bukových porostů se sbíhají potůčky vody (přítoky Divoké Orlice). Pokračujeme přes přírodní kemp Vochtánka, v létě pulsující životem, teď tichý a opuštěný. Pokračujeme podél řeky, kde v korytě Divoké Orlice proudí vody z tajícího sněhu a lipovou alejí po zdolání 6 km nás vítá cíl cesty Potštejn. Nechybí občerstvení, malá procházka městečkem a zpět na vlak domů.<br>Bohdana Hudská<br>
