Ve Svojanově se na své cestě z Bratislavy do Prahy zastavila zajímavá výstava Principiální lidé, která se věnuje vzniku tohoto hnutí v Československu, jeho rozmachu a brutálního potlačení komunistickou mocí. Obětí perzekucí se stala svojanovská rodačka Marie Živná. Její smrt ve slovenském vězení není dosud objasněna. Čest její památce a poděkování těm, kteří řádění komunistů přežili, vzpomínají na ni a šíří poznání těchto smutných historických událostí dál. Motto "Nezapomeneme, nesmíme zapomenout" je velmi aktuální i v dnešních časech.<br>Výstavu uvedl PhDr. Juraj Lajda, další oběť této perzekuce, za doprovodu Ing. Radomíra Janhuby, další oběti této perzekuce, který uvedení této výstavy u nás doprovodil svými vzpomínkami na Marii a na tu strašnou dobu, a Mgr. Michala Babála z Ústavu pamäti národa.<br>
