28. září 2022 uplyne přesně 20 let od podpisu partnerské smlouvy mezi městy Chrastava a Eichstätt. U příležitosti tohoto kulatého výročí proběhly zajímavé akce na oslavu partnerství a přátelství mezi oběma městy. Ve dnech 4. – 6. září navštívila delegace složená ze zastupitelů Chrastavy, vedení města a dalších spolupracovníků bavorský Eichstätt. Tady pro ně byl připravený zajímavý program, který zahrnoval prohlídku města, návštěvu místního beer festivalu, a slavnostní obřad k oslavě 20letého partnerství. Primátor města Eichstätt Josef Grienberger přivítal hosty ve slavnostním sále místní univerzity, kde byli rovněž zastupitelé města Eichstätt a zástupci místních spolků. Ve svém proslovu připomněl důležité milníky 20letého partnerství a zmínil důležitost jeho pokračování i v dalších letech. Působivým zakončením slavnostního ceremoniálu bylo vystoupení dechové sekce městské kapely, která přímo před univerzitou zahrála obě státní hymny.<br>Foto: Pavel Urban, Věra Baumgartnerová<br>
