Během letních měsíců proběhla revitalizace parčíku u městské tržnice.<b> </b>Projekt je podpořen z přeshraničního česko-polského projektu. Polský partner město Świerzawa v rámci projektu digitalizuje staré fresky ve svém románském kostele. Ještě před zahájením prací odborníci posoudili stav vzrostlých stromů jírovce maďalu podél cest. U tří stromů bylo nutné provést redukční a zdravotní řezy, čtvrtý strom byl pro svůj špatný zdravotní stav vyhodnocen jako nebezpečný a musel se pokácet. Ve čtvrtek 8. prosince 2022 byl projekt završen vysazením nového stromu, kterého se ujala delegace z polské Świerzawy. Spolu s místostarostou Chrastavy Robertem Šipulou společnými silami vysadili v parčíku dub letní.<br>Foto: Jana Zahurancová<br>
