Miloslav Stingl je jedním z největších badatelů v České republice. Procestoval skoro celý svět. Zažil strach a dobrodružství, dočkal se ocenění v mnoha koutech země. Napsal 41 knih, které vyšly ve 239 vydáních v nákladu téměř 17 miliónu výtisků, 18 měsíců učil na univerzitě na Havaji. Spolupracoval s rozhlasem, tiskem i Českou televizí, která z jeho materiálů odvysílala seriál Kolem světa s Miloslavem Stinglem.
