Přehrada Les Království patří k těm nejkrásnějším, <br> <br>Architektura tohoto vodního díla, které se nachází v nádherné krajině uprostřed lesů, je originální a mnohdy se o ní říká, že je skutečně pohádková. Projektanti ji na začátku minulého století navrhli v romantizujícím duchu, což dokazuje i koruna hráze, kterou tvoří dvě brány s věžemi. Malý kamenný hrad s věží s cimbuřím není nic jiného než domek hrázného. Stavba přehrady je vysoká 41 metrů a hráz je dlouhá 218 metrů, šířka hráze v koruně je 7,20 m a v patě 37 m. Celkový objem nádrže je 9,165 000 metrů krychlových. Nádrž není vhodná ke koupání.<br>Historická vodní nádrž byla postavená v letech 1910 až 1919.<br>Nachází se na řece Labi a od města Dvůr Králové nad Labem je vzdálena zhruba 6 km. <br>Od 18. dubna 1964 je přehrada i s elektrárnou zapsána jako nemovitá kulturní památka, od 1. července 2010 je národní kulturní památkou.<br> <br>
