Vrch tvořený čedičem se nachází na jižním okraji obce Konstantinovy Lázně.<br>Na vrocholové plošině bylo hradiště z pozdní doby bronzové (11. &ndash; 4. stol. před n.l.). Na ploše přibližně 50 ha žilo okolo 1.000 obyvatel. Obvod opevnění v podobě kamenného valu byl dlouhý přibližně 3,7 km a mělo celkem pět bran. <br>Na západním úbočí kopce byl na konci 19. století zřízen lom na čedič. Ten se tu těžil až do roku 1997 a při této těžbě padla za oběť i část hradiště. Na dně lomu se pak vytvořilo schromážděním deštové vody dnešní jezírko.<br>Samotný vrchol Hradišťského vrchu a blízké okolí bylo vyhlášeno v roce 1990 přírodní rezervací. Na území o rozloze 12,79 ha je chráněn nejen lipový a dubohabrový les, ale také různé druhy fauny a flory.<br><br>
