Fest KRONPRINZ (francouzsky Driant) se nachází v rozsáhlém lese nad obcí Ars-sur-Moselle, odkud k němu serpentinami stoupá přístupová silnice. Rozloha a počet objektů festu jsou impozantní. Kromě hlavního opěrného bodu v podobě fortu se dvěma pozorovacími věžemi a šesti pozorovacími zvony se zde nachází pět pancéřových baterií, pět velkých odolných kasárenských objektů a řada menších objektů samostatných pozorovatelen. To vše propojuje 1,5 kilometru podzemních chodeb, napojení na podzemí však postrádá vysunutá pancéřová baterie Moselle na levém křídle, která měla bránit údolí Mosely a také jeden z kasárenských objektů. Baterie Moselle, je silně poškozená, neboť ji ustupující Němci v říjnu 1944 částečně vyhodili do povětří (http://zapisnik.fortif.net/688127-pevnost-mety-vnejsi-obranna-linie-2-cast/) .
