Pevnostní komplex VILLEY-LE-SEC se nachází na jihovýchodním okraji pevnosti TOUL, na strategickém místě nad hlubokým údolím řeky Mosely. V kontextu francouzského opevnění jde o neobvykle mohutnou stavbu, které skládá z velkého čtvercového fortu, označovaného jako Réduit (T155M) a tří dalších částí, nazvaných Baterie Jih, Redan (T75) a Baterie Sever (T75, TMi). Všechny objekty jsou spojeny souvislými valy do jednoho celku a další kuriozitou je skutečnost, že uvnitř komplexu se nachází původní vesnice. V rámci modernizací byly do všech částí (s výjimkou Baterie jih) zabudovány betonové objekty s otočnými věžemi. Největší modernizací prošel Réduit, který mimo nového vchodu a kontreskarpových kaponiér obdržel též boční pancéřovou baterii pro dvě věže T155C, které však do vypuknutí druhé světové války nebyly osazeny. V současnosti ke komplex zpřístupněn veřejnosti jako muzeum (Ondřej Filip, http://zapisnik.fortif.net/475553-pevnost-toul/ ).
