Light Infantry is a military-style shooting competition (or rather a challenge), which takes place in Northern Poland. The event has 3 categories - Light (about 36 hours and about 50 km estimated walking distance), Lighter (about 16 hours and 30 km walking distance), and Lightest (9 hours, 15 km). It consists not only from pistol and rifle shooting stages, but also from tactical tasks, navigation tasks, 50 kg load bearing fun and other obstacles to prove one's mettle. It is designed for buddy teams who have to cooperate and coordinate well in order to succeed.
I went there with my camera as a representative of LEX z.s. gun rights protection association and accompanied mainly the Czech team nr. 9 on their journey to the finish line. This year's 10th anniversary was blessed with a wonderful weather - it rained about 70% of the day with a really heavy downpour all the morning. All the mud and water made the event even more challenging, both physically and mentally.
