This old house, near Alvanley, Ontario was decayed in many ways. The building, obviously. The trees that somewhat hid it during the summer were decrepit and barren in late Fall and the day I shot these was cold, with a light rain or mist all day. I had always wanted to go into the house but not without construction grade boots and a decent mask, assuming a great deal of wood rot and mold. The summer of 2016, when I pulled over to get out my camera and re-shoot, I found the house had been flattened and the next time I went by a few weeks later all obvious traces were gone. (The old brick structure is a different building not far away.)

- 2017, August, the space occupied by the old decrepit building seems to now house a dozen or more bee hives. At least that is the buzz.
