V deň posvätenia misijného kríža a v čase misii farnosti sa konala ďalšia udalosť prislúchajúca tomu to dňu. Dobre vieme, že druhú májovú nedeľu slávime ako deň matiek. Na ukončenie misii sme mali vo farnosti o 14:00 hod. májovú pobožnosť spojenú s pobožnosťou deviatnika k Duchu Svätému a Korunku k Božiemu milosrdenstvu. Pre matky mojej farnosti som zakúpil šípové ruže. Po pobožnosti som im ich rozdal a pošepol im veľké ĎAKUJEM. Potom sme sa spoločne odfotili pri novopostavenom a novo posvätenom misijnom kríži. Často krát Svätý otec Ján Pavol pripomínal vo svojich encyklikách, exhortáciách, príhovoroch a homíliách dôležitosť úlohy ženy a matky. Patrí im vďaka za pokolenie vychovávané v kresťansko – katolíckom duchu.<br>
