Pred časom ma oslovil predseda DHZ p. Pavol Kaník s požiadavkou, že by chceli miestni požiarnici, spolu s požiarnikmi okolitých obcí a aj hosťami z Poľska, sláviť jubilejné 95. výročie (1922 – 2017) od založenia DHZ v Brezovici. Chcú na túto akciu pozvať aj pána dekana ThDr, Jána Marhevku, PhD. z farnosti Suchá Hora. Ten pozvanie prijal a keď oslava bola pripravená, pán dekan celebroval k tomuto sviatku požiarnikov sv. omšu. Na sv. omši bolo pekne vyobliekaných v služobných uniformách okolo štyridsať požiarnikov. Úctivo všetci s ostatnými veriacimi prežívali sv. omšu. Pán dekan v homílii spomenul dôležitosť a význam požiarnikov, ale nezabudol ani na sviatok tejto nedele – Nedeľu Dobrého Pastiera. Po svätej omši im posvätil sochu sv. Floriána, patróna požiarnikov. Po sv. omši mali svoj hodinový program pred kultúrnym domom a potom boli všetci pozvaní na slávnostný obed. Bol som prekvapený ako pán dekan „valil“ po goralsky. Však pochádza z goralskej obce Reľov. Akcia bola pekná a dôstojná. Sv. Florián, oroduj za nás!<br>
