Od júla tohto roku začal hrať v kostole sv. Cyrila a Metóda na našom orgáne ôsmak Dávid Števaňák. Z počiatku prežíval trému a strach z kolosu veľkého organa, ale za tých päť mesiacov si už zvykol a hrá ako profesionál. Postupne sa naučil hrať piesne, odpovede na invokácie, svätý, svätý, Otčenáš a najnovšie sa pustil aj do žalmov. Teda celá sv. omša je pod jeho hudobnou taktovkou. Jeho učiteľ sakrálnej hudby je náš dlhodobý organista, riaditeľ Umeleckej školy v Trstenej a odborník Mgr. Andrej Škuláň. Andrej, keďže je zaneprázdnený prácou a svojím voľným časom v kostole častejšie hráva Dávid. Ja by som chcel poprosiť svojich farníkov, aby sa za Dávidka modlili, povzbudzovali a posväcovali modlitbou jeho poslanie pri organe a liturgického spevu. Som presvedčený, že už o krátku chvíľu bude z neho profesionál ako jeho učiteľ. Sv. Cecília, patrónka hudobníkov, oroduj za nás!<br>
