Dňa 6. 9. 2015 birmovancom našej farnosti, bola vyslúžená otcom biskupom Mons. PaedDr. Andrejom Imrichom sviatosť Ducha Svätého - birmovka. Kandidáti sa na túto sviatosť pripravovali celý jeden rok. Začali sme v októbri prednáškami, ktoré sme absolvovali v etapách každú druhu sobotu v týždni. Absolvovali sme 18. prednášok. Prišiel deň skúšky a kandidáti tejto sviatosti uspeli veľmi dobre. Všetci sme sa tešili na tento veľký deň, kedy zavíta do našej farnosti otec biskup. Rodičia birmovancov pekne upratali a ozdobili kostol, začo im chcem touto cestou poďakovať. Slávnosť sa začala introitom "Duch Svätý sa dnes zjavuje". Otec biskup vo svojej homílii birmovancom vysvetlil dôležitosť kresťanských hodnôt v službe morálnych zásad. Udelil im sviatosť birmovania a po svätej omši sa birmovanci zúčastnili besedy s otcom biskupom. Chcem sa touto cestou poďakovať aj birmovancom, že mali pekne nacvičený nástup, animátorom, Lucke Tyrolovej za administratívne úkony, kantorovi Andrejovi Škuláňovi a všetkým tým, ktorí sa akýmkoľvek spôsobom pričinili na príprave a realizácií slávnosti.
