V nedeľu Božieho milosrdenstva kňaz brezovickej farnosti spolu so svojimi veriacimi posvätil pri príležitosti svätorečenia pápeža Jána Pavla II. sochu s podobou tohto svätca. Po sv. omši sa veriaci farnosti presunuli do nádvoria farskej záhrady, kde prebiehali úkony posvätenia. Posvätenie malo symbolický význam, pri ktorom sme boli zjednotení s pápežom Františkom, ktorý tohto svätca v tento deň kanonizoval. Spolu so sv. Jánom Pavlom II. bol kanonizovaný aj Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli, ako pápež sv. Ján XXIII. s prezývkou "Láskavý pápež". Ďakujeme spoločne Bohu za túto milosť.
