The last island we stayed on, Naxos had a Temple of Apollo by the port entrance, an old town with narrow cobbled passageways around the Kastro. We took a bus tour around the island to visit Demeter's Temple at Sagkri, a distillery at Halki, a walk around the town of Apeiranthos with its marbled streets, lunch by the beach at Apollonas, saw the unfinished Kouros of Apollonas in an ancient marble quarry plus an historic Olive Press at Eggares. A boat trip from Naxos took us to the islands of Delos & Mykonos. On Mykonos, the island of Windmills, we explored the Chora with its narrow streets and "Little Venice".
