Andasibe is a village of the Betsimisaraka (The-Many Inseparables) the second largest tribe in Madagascar. The village is surrounded by the Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, an area of protected montane rainforest. We stayed at a lodge in Andasibe and went on morning, afternoon and evening walks into the surrounding reserves and photographed lemurs, chameleons, birds, frogs and insects. In the morning we were woken by the eerie wailing calls of the Indri which carry over 3km through the forest and we photographed the Indri in Analamazaotra Reserve
