Half Moon Island is a small Antarctic Island off Livingston island in the South Shetlands. We explored the island on foot. The was an old Norwegian whaling boat on the shore. We saw Weddell seals on the beach and Snowy Sheathbills, Kelp gulls and Chinstrap penguin colonies among the lichen clad rocky outcrops. The Argentinian Camera Base is located on the island.
