Kanha National Park is where we saw clearly, our first Bengal Tigers, including Munna, the King of Kanha. Other animals were Chital, Indian Jackal, BlackFaced Langur monkey, Blackbuck, Barasingha & Sambar deer, Barking Deer, Gaur, wild boar, Indian elephants . Birds photographed include Changeable Hawk-Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle, Shikra, Yellow Wattled Lapwing, Green Bee-eater, Peafowl, Common Stonechat, Indian Roller, Greater Racket-tailed Drongo, Oriental Magpie-Robin, Red-vented Bulbul, Black-rumped Flameback Woodpecker, Brown Shrike, Greater Coucal, Large Green Barbet, Scarlet minivet, Streaked Fantail Warbler, a number of small grassbirds, Lesser Adjutant Stork, Little Cormorant, Indian Pond Heron, White-throated Kingfisher, Great White Egret. Other wildlife: Common Indian Crow butterfly, Changeable lizard & Indian soft-shell turtle.
