The Kimberley spreads over Australia's entire north-western corner & considered to be one of the world's last wilderness frontiers. It's crossed by one of Australia's greatest 4WD road trips: the 660klm Gibb River Road. To explore this region it's best in a 4X4 vehicle so we joined a 12 day camping safari with Kimberley Wild, leaving our campervan at Broome. Our photos include Lake Argyle, the Bungle Bungles, Halls Creek, El Questro, Fitzroy River, Geikie Gorge, Dampier Peninsula, Beagle Bay Pearl church, Cape Leveque, gorges, swimming holes, waterfalls, caves, natural tunnels, Aboriginal rock art, wallaby, crocodiles, frogs, fish, bugs, birds & Baob trees.
