From Kashgar, we left China following the Torugart-Suu River and through Torugart Pass to continue our Silk Road jouney in Kyrgystan. We went around Chatyr-Kol lake, through Ak-Beyit Pass to Tash Rabat where we spent our first night in a Yurt. The walk to Tash Rabat Caravanserai was through meadows of autumn alpine flowers. Above our yurt camp were trails where the camp dog would join us for walks.
