These pictures show each page from our Photobook of the Christmas & Cocos Islands trip in November 2018.Christmas Island is an Australian external territory in the Indian Ocean around 1,550 kilometres north-west of the Australian mainland. We went there to see the unique annual red crab migration, rare and unusual birds and do some snorkelling. Afterwards we flew 1000 klms further west to visit the remote Cocos (Keeling) Islands, this territory consists of two atolls made up of 27 coral islands, of which only two – West Island and Home Island – are inhabited. We went there to experience a remote tropical desert island.
