2016 Myall Lakes Myall Lakes National Parks is a coastal lake system about 250klms north of Sydney, Australia. We spent a few days at the NRMA (motoring organisation) camp site at Myall Lakes in October 2016. This was our first trip in the Toyota Hiace pop top campervan. The objective was to get to know this campervan before embarking on longer trips. 2020 Myall Lakes We again visited the NRMA camp site at Myall Lakes, this time, to "shake down" our Sherwood motor home before going on longer trips. We retraced our walk on the Mouth of River trail to see how plants and wildlife are recovering after the 2019 massive bush fire. Although fire tolerant trees are recovering, what is apparent is a significant reduction in plants, insects, birds, reptiles etc..
