Walking around Florence city centre, you will find street markets selling Leather goods to the 2 storey Central Markets( San Lorenzo Market, built 1874) for meat, fish, fruit etc. Or go window shopping just to admire the artistic displays. There’s street entertainers, budding artists, street art by Simonia D'Auria and an antique carousel of the Picci family at the Piazza della Repubblica. Some of the famous artists works include the Campanile & Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore by Giotto, its main portal was by Augusto Passaglia, the Dome by Brunelleschi, the dome frescoes "Last Judgment" by Vasari & Zuccari, a 1443 clock painted by Paolo Uccello, painting by Domenico di Michelino "Dante before the City of Florence" . Across from the Basilica the Baptistery's East Door (Gate of Paradise) by Lorenzo Ghiberti. Other churches include Basilica di San Lorenzo and Orsanmichele Church of Crafts and Guilds. The Vasari Corridor (designed by Giorgio Vasari) built in 1564 for Grand Duke Cosimo I de' Medici is an elevated enclosed passageway to link the Palazzo Vecchio with the Palazzo Pitti. It crosses the Arno River atop the Ponte Vecchio, a medieval bridge. Beyond the Pitti Palace at Porta Romana is "Dietrofront" (Turnabout) statue by Michelangelo Pistoletto and nearby the Scuderie Reali, Royal Mews Park.
