Tradiční Hrádecký divadelní podzim má už čtyři roky mladšího sourozence v podobě Hrádeckého divadelního jara. Mladšího nejen věkem, ale i jeho hlavními protagonisty. Divadelní jaro je určeno dětem a dětským divadelním souborům. V rámci přehlídky tak diváci mohli vidět inscenaci Chroust od souboru Anička a letadýlko, následující odpoledne potom 7 dětských divadelních souborů z hrádecké školy T. G. Masaryka, a ze škol v Doníně, Chrastavě a Rynoltic. Na přehlídce si zahráli také žáci hrádecké pobočky ZUŠ Liberec, premiéru mělo hrádecké klarinetové kvarteto.
Hrádecké divadelní jaro letos dostalo svého talismana, Divadelního Járu, kterého věnovala Pavla Bláhová. Pořadatelé z o. s. Hádě a Brány Trojzemí se rozhodli, že Jára bude putovní cenou, byť přehlídka není soutěžní. Járova „maminka“ dostala možnost napoprvé rozhodnout komu cena bude na rok propůjčena. A tak Jára putoval do Rynoltic za Šípkovou Růženku.
