V sobotu se na Horním Sedle konal 40. ročník Běhu Císařským údolím. Na startu se sešli i dva muži, kteří stáli u zrodu jednoho z nejhezčích běhů v okolí. A pak i u všech dalších ročníků, byť se v pořádání vystřídali: Jiří Novák a Petr Vinklárek se startovními čísly 1 a 40 si trať nenechali ujít, byť vyrazili na kole – vedly je k tomu „technické důvody“. 40. ročník znamenal také účastnický rekord, ke kterému pomohla hojná účast dětí – letos své síly poměřilo 140 běžců. A to byla největší odměna pro hlavní pořadatele, hrádecké horolezce, kteří letošní ročník připravovali obzvláště pečlivě s tradičním přispěním DDM Drak.
