Nebývá úplně zvykem zveřejňovat podobné události, ale tentokrát činíme výjimku: v poslední květnový den vedení města a zaměstnanci hrádeckého městského úřadu poděkovali své dlouholeté kolegyni Marii Zimové za práci, kterou na hrádecké radnici po mnoho let odváděla. S posledním květnovým dnem odešla paní Zimová do důchodu. Na městském úřadě pracovala 34 let, tedy od roku 1982. A protože byla matrikářkou, dá se říci, že ji při nějaké příležitosti poznala většina obyvatel města. jak paní Zimová přiznala, za těch 34 let byla u 1700 svateb. Počet přivítaných narozených občánků nevěděla, ale střízlivý odhad říká, že jich bude přes 4 tisíce.
Přejeme paní Marii Zimové, aby se ještě dlouho mohla věnovat věcem, na které dosud možná neměla díky pracovnímu vytížení čas.
