Pětihodinový program druhé adventní neděle pro děti i dospělé pod názvem Hvězda pro Mikuláše hostila jídelna první ZŠ. Vystoupením jej zpestřily děti z domácí ZŠ T.G.M i sousední ZŠ Lidická. Pozadu nezůstala ani základní umělecká škola s řadou nadaných interpretů, kterou po příchodu Mikuláše, anděla a čertů vystřídali Čmeláci, Martina Jirků, mažoretky a MIX DANCE. Zároveň se vyráběly vánoční dekorace a k mání byly i krásné výtvory z DDM Drak. Do daleka celý den lákavě voněl vyhlášený smažený kapr hrádeckých rybářů a úplně na konec přišly ke slovu vánoční tradice – krájela se jablíčka a lilo olovo.
