To snad nemůže být pravda. Slova, která opakoval na návštěvě zástupců občanského sdružení Hrádek nad Nisou – Ostrov života pan Sedláček, když se dozvěděl, že pro něj má sdružení elektrický vozík. Od amputace nohy byl odkázán na starý bez pohonu, se kterým musel často absolvovat cesty po celém městě. Všem nejsou osudy druhých lhostejné, tak se námět na pomoc dostal až k Ostrovu života, hrádeckému sdružení podporujícímu dlouhodobě nemocné a postižené spoluobčany. Tomu se podařilo sehnat použitý vozík ve velmi pěkném stavu, ze svých prostředků ho zakoupilo a dalo panu Sedláčkovi k dispozici. Slavnostní předání proběhlo minulý pátek u motorkářské klubovny, kde sdružení našlo své zázemí i řadu pomocníků.
