Rok 2014 je pro hrádecký hřbitov bez nadsázky přelomový. Na jaře došlo k vykácení starých lip, jejichž stav označil dendrologický posudek v důsledku dlouhodobě zanedbávaného ošetřování za špatný.
Lidem se to moc nelíbilo, kácení mnoho z nich odsoudilo. Brzo však většina z nich změnila názor, to když během několika týdnů došlo k výsadbě mladých stromů. Hřbitov se proměnil k nepoznání. Pro letošní rok to ale ještě není konec.
Byl vydlážděn příčný chodník na úrovni kříže spolu s přístupovým prostorem k rozptylové loučce. Okolo kříže se upravuje odvod dešťové vody.
Nezapomíná se ani na budovy. Pravá loď dostala novou střechu, zvonice nad hřbitovním vstupem má střechu opravenou.
