Letošní Společenský večer vzdal hold našim spoluobčanům, kteří v uplynulém roce svou prací významně obohatili naše město nebo svými sportovními úspěchy přispěli i k jeho slávě. V první části večera starosta města pan Josef Horinka a místostarosta města pan Pavel Farský připomenuli alespoň některé události uplynulého roku v našem městě. Za jejich zády na velikém plátně zářila nově upravená zákoutí, dětská hřiště, nová knihovna i smělé plány do budoucnosti. Zpestření a předěly v hlavním programu tvořila vystoupení skupin Rising Stars a plaYmen. Nejočekávanější okamžik večera nastává pravidelně ve chvíli, kdy jsou předávány ceny starosty města za práci pro naše město nebo sportovní výkony.
