MD mlieka v školách je medzinárodnou udalosťou podporovanou Organizáciou pre výživu a poľnohospodárstvo. Mlieko a mliečne výrobky pomáhajú naplniť požiadavky na plnohodnotnú výživu rastúceho organizmu. Podstatou tohto dňa je oslava významu mlieka, je to spôsob ako sa zamerať na pomoc deťom, zvýšiť ich povedomie, upozorniť na dôležitosť pitia mlieka a na jeho zdravotné prínosy pre rastúce deti. Naši žiaci sa v tento deň okrem maškrtenia na mliečnych výrobkoch aj zabavili. Na pripravených 12 tich stanovištiach museli absolvovať rôzne úlohy - kvíz o mlieku, pletenie korbáčikov, stavanie pyramíd, mlieko v cudzích jazykoch,....Za splnenie rôznych týchto úloh dostávali žetóny, ktoré si vymenili za jogurt. Tiež museli poznať časti cesty mlieka od dojenia, až po spracovanie v mliekarni. Žiaci I. stupňa sa v tomto zdokonaľovali pomocou pripraveného filmu Cesta mlieka. Dúfame, že sa žiakom dnešný mliečny deň v škole páčil a že si so sebou odniesli to, čo bolo hlavnou podstatou tejto akcie - mlieko je dôležitá potravina hlavne pre Vaše kosti a zuby.
