vsdp dekan Michal Tondra sa narodil 17. 1. 1947 v Spišských Vlachoch. Na kňaza bol ordinovaný 21. júna 1970 v Bratislave. Potom pôsobil ako kaplán v Zázrivej. 1. 12. 1973 sa stal správcom farnosti v Hladovke. Od 1. 2. 1990 bol správcom farnosti v Trstenej a zároveň prodekanom oravského dekanátu a od 1998 roku dekanom oravského dekanátu. Od 1. 7. 2006 do 18. 2. 2015 bol vdp. dekan Michal Tondra farárom v Suchej Hore. Zomrel 18. 2. 2015. Počas kňazského pôsobenia zastával aj tieto úlohy: 1990 -1999 prodekan Dekanátu Dolný Kubín, 1998 - 2014 člen Diecéznej liturgickej komisie, 1999 - 2015 člen Kňazskej rady Spišskej diecézy a farár konzultor, 1999 - 2001 dekan Dolnokubínskeho dekanátu, 2000 - 2015 člen Zboru konzultorov, 2002 - 2015 dekan-moderátor Trstenského dekanátu.
