Dňa 30.09.2020, v predvečer začiatku mesiaca október, ktorý je zasvätený modlitbe posvätného ruženca a Panne Márii, sme požehnali obnovenú kaplnku Panny Márie na hornom konci dediny. Celá rekonštrukcia bola podmienená napadnutím sochy Panny Márie červotočom, ktorú sme ošetrili a zachránili pred zničením. Zároveň sa z kaplnky odstránil všetok drevený materiál, ktorý mohol byť zdrojom nákazy. Boli vyhotovené nové kovové vchodové dvere s vitrážami. Celá kaplnka prešla kompletnou renováciou – urobili sa nové vnútorné omietky, nový podstavec pod sochu, vonkajšia fasáda a nová strecha. Kaplnka bola napojená na verejné osvetlenie a v noci bude osvetlená. Rekonštrukciu realizovala stavebná firma Lukáša Bonka, ktorej aj touto cestou vyslovujeme srdečné Pán Boh zaplať. Rovnako veľká vďaka patrí všetkým, ktorí akýmkoľvek spôsobom podporili toto dielo. Kaplnku sme opravili aj ako prejav vďaky a prosby k Panne Márii o ochranu farnosti i v súvislosti so súčasnou pandémiou coronavírusu.<br>Druhá časť fotografií zachytáva postup prác pri rekonštrukcií kaplnky.<br>
