V Luhačovicích se 10. až 12. května 2024 opět uskutečnil tradiční festival Otevírání pramenů. Tato akce, kterou pořádá město Luhačovice s Kulturním a kongresovým centrem Elektra, symbolicky zahajuje lázeňskou sezonu a slaví příchod jara v lázeňském městě třídenní oslavou plnou zajímavého programu pro návštěvníky. Hlavními akcemi festivalu bylo nedělní slavnostní svěcení pramenů, jarmark, přehlídka automobilových veteránů, koncerty, nově divadelní představení, historický kolotoč a mnoho dalších atrakcí. Průvod několika set lidí se v neděli zapojil do symbolického otevírání pramenů. Nechyběli v něm krojovaní členové folklorních souborů a hasiči s prapory a korouhvemi. Svěcení a otevírání léčivých pramenů oficiálně zahájilo sezonu v tomto lázeňském městě. Pramenům svatého Josefa, Ottovce, MUDr. Františka Šťastného, Jubilejní a nejznámější Vincentce tradičně postupně požehnal P. Mgr. Marián Pospěcha, kněz farnosti Dolní Lutyně a moderátor televize NOE. Slavnosti spojené s minerálními prameny mají bohatou a dlouhodobou tradici. Nyní tato tradice vychází většinou na druhý víkend v květnu.<br>
