Ve středu 19. 11. se v Údlicích konalo okresní kolo ve stolním tenisu žákovských družstev středních škol. Turnaje se zúčastnilo pět týmů. Domácí Údlice obsadili konečné páté místo, čtvrtí byli klášterečtí gymnazisté (s jedinou dívkou turnaje ve svém středu – a velmi dobrou), třetí skončili chlapci ze SPŠ a OA Kadaň. Souboj o první místo jsme svedli s mládenci z Gymnázia Chomutov. Odešli jsme sice poraženi, ale zápas byl ozdobou celého turnaje, zejména potom utkání jedniček obou týmů (z naší strany Michal Štěpnička).
Všem našim borcům náleží uznání za předvedené výkony a poděkování za úspěšnou sportovní reprezentaci školy.
Reprezentovali: nehrající kapitán a dlouholetá opora týmu v minulých ročnících David Drahota (S4), Michal Štěpnička (E4), Tomáš Morávek (1D), Petr Stašek (A3) a Denis Reiner (2B).
