Ve čtvrtek 16.3.2017 se na ZŠ Na Příkopech uskutečnilo okresní kolo soutěže v programování. Naši školu reprezentovalo 10 studentů celkem ve 3 kategoriích. V kategorii Programovací jazyky - mládež se umístil na 1. místě Milan Hotovec (V4), na 2. až 3. místě Radek Rous (V4), na 4. místě Radek Bělohlávek (V4) a na 7. místě Petr Kotáb (2.B). V kategorii Aplikační software - tvorba webu (společná kategorie pro ZŠ a SŠ) se na 1. místě umístil Jiří Vávra (V3), na 2. místě Dominik Chlouba (V4) a na 4. místě Jindřich Richter (V4). V kategorii Programování mikrořadičů (společná kategorie pro ZŠ a SŠ) se na 1. místě umístil Tomáš Orlovský (V4), na 2. místě Jan Hošek (V4) a na 5. místě Ondřej Lošťák (V3). Vítězové jednotlivých kategorií postupují do krajského kola, které se uskuteční 20.4.2017 na SPŠ v Ústí nad Labem. Šanci na postup také mají ti, kteří skončili na druhých místech, záleží na počtu soutěžících v dané kategorii a na jejich úrovni. Všem 10 účastníkům děkujeme za reprezentaci školy a postupujícím držíme palce v krajském kole. S odchodem 4. ročníků nás čeká hledání talentů mezi studenty nižších ročníků, kteří budou vítězit v soutěžích v programování, v tvorbě webu a v programování mikrořadičů (arduino) od okresní úrovně až po republiku.
