Dnes 16. 11. 2017 jsme uspořádali Okresní kolo v basketbalu chlapců středních škol – kategorie V. Turnaj se nesl v duchu fair play a s výjimkou jednoho podvrtnutého kotníku nedošlo k žádnému úrazu.
Naši chlapci potvrdili papírové předpoklady a turnaj s převahou vyhráli. Dozrála nám jedna výborná basketbalová generace, takže ani v krajském kole, do kterého jsme postoupili, bychom při dobré konstalaci nemuseli být bez šance.
Turnaje se zúčastnily čtyři týmy výhradně chomutovských škol. Za našimi borci skončili na druhém místě chomutovští gymnazisté, třetí chlapci z obchodní akademie a čtvrtí žáci SŠTA Pražská. Pořadí bylo navlas stejné jako vloni.
Náš tým postupně porazil SŠTA 23 : 8, OA 23 : 18 a Gym.Cv (nejlepším výkonem) 25 : 8
