Studenti naší školy se nezajímají pouze o technické obory a problémy, ale zajímá je i ekologie. Důkazem toho je interaktivní přednáška o problematice palmového oleje, která proběhla dne 22.3. na ZŠ Školní ve třídách 3.A a 4.B. Problematika palmového oleje je považována za jednu z největších ekologických hrozeb současnosti. Povídání se ujal student naší školy ze třídy 2.E Jaroslav Konopásek, který si nachystal hodinovou prezentaci na toto téma. Poutavou formou si s dětmi vyprávěl o přítomnosti palmového oleje v potravinách, pěstování palmy olejné, ale také o možnosti, jak mohou i malé děti změnit běh událostí na naší planetě. Děti byly z přednášky velmi nadšené a my také, protože splnila svůj cíl. Jaroslav oslovil nejmladší generaci, která se bude zamýšlet nad osudem planety jistě více, než my doposud…
