V pondělí dne 15. 4. se studenti 3. ročníků zúčastnili exkurze do závodu Škoda Mladá Boleslav. I když brzký výjezd představoval pro některé studenty náležitou výzvu, zdárně jsme spánek dohnali při jízdě autobusem. Na místě se naše cesty rozdělily, a zatímco jedna skupina se šla nasnídat a nabrat síly, druhá skupina se rovnou rozjela do výrobny. Zde nám bylo umožněno nahlédnout přímo pod ruce mechaniků, kteří auta montují a mohli jsme v akci vidět i stroje, které zastávají drsnou práci s materiálem. Poté se naše skupiny vystřídaly a studenty čekala druhá část prohlídky. Tentokrát do muzea Škoda. Zde jsme naslouchali příběhu vývoje aut od samého počátku a obdivovali se veteránům, kteří jakoby nás přenesly zpátky v čase. V rámci technické angličtiny jsme měli možnost naslouchat výkladu v anglickém jazyce, takže si studenti mohli naučené výrazy zařadit do kontextu. A co víte o závodě Škoda vy?
