Krásná, nyní část obce Pěnčín v okr. Jablonec n.Nisou se dříve nazývala Schumberg, Šumberk a tvořila celek s obcí Jistebsko. Záznam z farní kroniky uvádí, že již před rokem 1400 zde žili lidé v chýších a skalních jeskyních. Po r.1401 je tu zapálená sklářská huť a je započato s tavením skla. Huť však byla v době husitské zničena a zapomenuta. V 16. stol. se tu začal vyrábět porcelán a obec zažila nebývalý rozkvět. Veliký věhlas získala obec v pol. 17. stol. s příchodem ranhojičů rodu Kittel. Velice známí byli všichni, ale nejvíce byl uznávaný Jan Josef Kittel, nazývaný "Jizerský Faust". Ten na místě, kde zřejmě stávala huť, postavil dům, zvaný "Burk" pro svoji velikost. V r.1756 inicioval stavbu místního kostela, zasvěceného sv. Josefu a fary. Prvním zdejším knězem byl syn Jana Josefa Kittela Philipp Jacob Kittel. Součástí areálu je i Studánka sv. Josefa a bylinková zahrádka. Do tohoto komplexu patřila i škola založená Janem Josefem Kittelem, která také měla velikou prestiž. V bývalé hospodářské budově je nyní Kittelovo muzeum. Po r.1945 byl Šumberk přejmenován na Krásná.<br>
